Save Our Forests 4 Future: International Batik Weekends 2009

In order to bring back glory batik Indonesia and enliven HUT Kota Pekalongan to-103, International Batik weekends (PBI) will be held again from 29 April to 3 May 2009, held in the Museum Batik Indonesia, Jl. Jetayu, Kota Pekalongan, Central Java. Themes PBI to-2 this time is "Batikku, We Batik, Batik World" One Nusa Satu Bangsa Satu Batik, Indonesia.International Batik Weekends (PBI) was first held in 2007 and planned to become a regular event held every two year in the city of Pekalongan.

Facing the situation and condition of the world affected by global financial crisis, the International Batik Week 2009 is expected to encourage and inspire the performance of industry and handicraft batik Indonesia and to bring the economic multiplier effect for bangkitnya with the real sector. For the series of agenda has been prepared in order to enliven the activities that will target 100,000 people visited both locally and internationally, there is :
